Die Thrombozythämie 3 ist eine autosomal dominante Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen im JAK2-Gen hervorgerufen wird und sich durch eine Vermehrung von Thrombozyten im peripheren Blut zeigt. Auch somatische Mutationen in diesem Gen können eine solche Erkrankung auslösen.
