Die Uratnephropathie ist eine heterogene Krankheitsgruppe, welche sich durch Ablagerung von Harnsäure im Nierengewebe und Harnsäuresteinbildung in den ableitenden Harnwegen gekennzeichnet ist. Dabei kann die Ursache sowohl in einer vermehrten Harnsäurebildung, wie auch in einer vermehrten Ausscheidung liegen.
