Das vom ZNF365-Gen kodierte centrosomale Protein hat eine Funktion bei der Mitose. Der Polymorphismus p.Ala62Thr (7076156) bewirkt eine Konformationsänderung im reifen Protein und scheint damit die Bildung von Uratsteinen zu begünstigen. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit hängt von der Anzahl betroffener Allele ab.
