Insulinähnlicher Wachtumsfaktor 1-Transportproteinmangel

Der Mangel an IGF-Transportprotein ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung. Die Erkrankung ist durch eine relativ milde Wachstums- und Entwicklungsverzögerung gekennzeichnet, die sich nicht durch eine Substitution mit Wachstumshormon (GH) beheben lässt. Charakteristischerweise kommt es unter GH nicht zu einem Anstieg von IGF im Plasma.
