5'-Nukleotidase
Das NT5E-Gen kodiert ein Membranprotein, welches für de Umwandlung von xtrazellulären Nukleotiden in membran-permeable Nukleotide verantwortlich ist. Damit schein es eine wichtige Rolle in der Signaltransdzktion zu spielen. Mutationen sind für die autosomal rezessive extraossäre Verkalkung der Gelenke und Arterien verantwortlich. Außerdem schent es eine Rolle bei der Calciophylaxie zu spielen.
