DCC-interagierendes Protein 13-alpha
Das vom APPL1-Gen kodierte Protein ist teil der Signalkaskade der vom Insulin über den Insulinrezeptor ausgelösten metabolischen Veränderungen in der Zelle. Mutationen sind für den autosomal dominanten typ 2 Diabetes, MODY 14, verantwortlich.
