Transaktivator NEUROD1

Das Genprodukt des NEUROD1 spielt eine Rolle bei der Insulinsekretion. Als Transkriptionsfaktor bindet es an die E-box des Insulinpromotors. Mutationen führen zum autosomal dominanten Diabetes MODY6.
