Hereditary susceptibility to infections

This group includes hereditary genetic changes that affect the susceptibility to infectious diseases. Those disorders include general disturbances of the infectious defense mechanisms. Those disturbances result in a general susceptibility to all or a wider group of infections. There are also genetic variations that specifically affect resistance or susceptibility to a specific infectious agent.
