Patatin-like Phospholipase-Protein 2
Das PNPLA2-gen kodiert ein Enzym welches für den Abbau der Triglyceride im Fettgewebe verantwortlich ist. Mutationen führen zur autosomal rezessiven Specheirkrankheit von neutralen Fetten, die mit einer Myopathie und Ohne Ichtiose einhergeht. Daneben finden sich auch genetische Veränderungen, die zur familiären kombinierten Hyperlipämie führen.
