Wachstumshormon-Sekretagogum-Rezeptor
Das GHSR-Gen kodiert einen G-Proteingekoppelten Rezeptor der bei der Regulation der Sekretion des Wachstumshormon eine Rolle spielt. Ein wichtiger Ligand dieses Rezeptors ist das Ghrelin, würüber das Wachstum offensichtlich in Abhängigkeit von der Nahrungsaufnahme gesteuert wird. Mutationen sind Verantwortlich für die GHS-Resistenz. Eine genetisch bedingte Erkrankung mit variablerm Varerbungsmodus und variabler Penetranz.
