Cyclin M2
Das Protein, welches durch das CNNM2-Gen kodiert wird zeigt eine strukturelle Verwandschaftmit den Cylcinen. Es ist im distalen Tubulus der Niere an der Rückresorption des Magnesiums beteiligt. Mutationen, die zu einem Funktionsverlust führen, sind für die autosomal dominante Hypomagnesiämie vom Typ 6 verantwortlich.
