Das Eiken-Syndrom ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung die durch Mutationen im PTHR1-Gen hervorgerufen wird. Sie ist gekennzeichnet durch schwere Ossifikationsstörungen der Epiphysen. Dies führt zu Fehlbildungen vor allem an Händen und Füßen.
