Die IgA-Nephropathie vom Typ 2 ist eine wahrscheinlich autosomal dominant vererbte Erkrankung, die an den Chromosomenpositionen 4q26-q31 und 17q12-q22 festgemacht werden kann. Die zugehörigen Gene sind noch nicht bekannt.
