Die kindliche Hypophosphatasie ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen des ALPL-Gens hervorgerufen wird. Das klinische Bild umfasst verschiedene Störungen der Knochenbildung und des -wachstums. Sekundäre führt dies zu verzögertem Laufenlernen und diffusen Knochenschmerzen. Bei den Zähnen zeigt sich ein ausgeprägter Kariesbefall und ein frühzeitiger Verlust der Milchzähne.
Zur Therapie steht das Strensiq® (asfotase alfa) zur Verfügung.
