Hyper-IgM-Syndrom 5 ist eine autosomal rezessive Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen des UNG-Gens hervorgerufen wird. Sie ist charakterisiert durch erniedrigte Immunglobulin IgG, IgA und IgE Spiegel während IgM kompensatorisch erhöht gefunden wird.
