Die hereditäre FSGS vom Typ 2 ist eine autosomal dominante Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen des TRPC6-Gens hervorgerufen wird. Es ist dabei noch unklar ob es sich ausschließlich um funktionssteigernde oder auch funktionsmindernde Mutationen handeln kann.
