Als Antimorph oder negativ dominant wird eine dominante loss-of-function mutation verstanden. Eine solche tritt insbesondere dann auf, wenn das Protein Homo-Dimere oder - Multimere bildet und ein fehlerhaft eingebautes Molekül zum Funktionsverlust des gesamten Komplexes führt, also das gesunde Protein nicht kompensatorisch wirken kann.
