Inactive Heparanase-2
Das HPSE2-Gen kodiert eine Heparanase, ein Enzym welches in der remodulation der extrazellulären Matrix beteiligt ist. Damit besitzt es möglicherweise wichtige Funktionen für die Angiogenese und die Steuerung des Zellwachstums. Mutationen führen zu autosomal rezessivem urofazialem Syndrom.
