Recht-Links-Determinationsfaktor 2

Das LEFTY2-Gen kodiert einen Liganden für das TGF-beta. Es besitzt eine besondere Bedeutung für die Rechts-Links-Asymetrie insbesondere von Lunge und Herz. Mutatonen können zu Situs inversus und ähnlichen Fehlbildungen führen.
