Agouti-related-Protein
Das AGRP-Gen kodiert ein Protein, welches in der Signaltransduktion von den Melanocortin-Rezeptoren 3 und 4 eingebunden ist. Mutationen können eine spät einsetzende autosomal dominante Form der Adipositas und eine ausgesprochene Schlankheit hervorrufen.
