Das Usher-Syndrome vom Typ 1D/F ist eine digenische Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen im CDH23- und PCDH15-Gen hervorgerufen. Die Vererbung ist autosomal rezessiv. Das klinische Bild wird bestimmt von einer Hörstörung und einer Retinitis pigmentosa.
