Das MOTA-Syndrom ist ein autosomal rezessives Fehlbildungssyndrom des Auges welches durch Mutationen im FREM1-Gen ausgelöst wird. Neben den Fehlbildungen des Auges findet sich auch eine verschobene Haarlinie.
