CINCA-Syndrom

Das CINCA-Syndrom ist eine schon in der Neonatalperiode beginnende viele Organsysteme betreffende entzündliche Erkrankung. Insbesondere sind involviert die Haut, das zentrale Nervensystem und die Gelenke. Die Ursache liegt in Mutationen des NLRP3-Gens. Die Vererbung ist autosomal dominant.

Management

Wie bei allen Cryopyrin-assoziierten Erkrankungen ist eine Antagonisierung von Interleukin 1 wirksam sowohl in der Behandlung akuter Schübe wie auch in der Prävention der Amyloidose.
