Die hereditäre FSGS vom Typ 7 ist eine autosomal dominante Erkrankung, die durch Mutationen des PAX2-Gens hervorgerufen wird. Da dieses Gen auch für das Papillorenale Syndrom verantwortlich ist gibt es eine überlappende Symptomatik.
